Zlatan posted pictures of himself and Davita in coral-beaded attire, and fans and celebrities sent their congratulations.

Nigerian singer Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan, posted traditional wedding photos with his partner, Davita, on Instagram ahead of their traditional wedding ceremony. Punch reported that the ceremony was being held on Saturday, October 24.

Davita wore a deep red, intricately beaded off-shoulder gown with a multi-strand coral necklace, matching earrings and an elaborate headpiece with a veil. Zlatan, who is widely known for the hit Zanku, chose a white traditional outfit trimmed with red bead fringe, layered coral necklaces and a white cap, and in some shots he held a carved staff. Legit.ng described the outfits as traditional Benin attire, while BellaNaija Weddings said the couple stepped out in regal Edo traditional outfits. Legit.ng reported that the studio portraits captured both individual and joint frames against opulent backdrops.

Zlatan wrote this caption:

"IT's TIME TO MARRY"

Fans and celebrities filled the comments. Influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa wrote, "Love is a beautiful thing! Congratulations to the Omoniyi's." Samuel Perry, the comedian and skit maker better known as Broda Shaggi, wrote, "Congratulations." Among the fans, @veekkydaniels wrote, "They look sooooooo regal." Another fan, @dammiedammie35, wrote, "Zlatan and his wife looking dashing on their big day today."

PM News had reported on October 23 that the couple had wowed fans with their pre-wedding shots ahead of their nuptials that weekend. Punch reported that the couple announced their wedding date in a video post on October 8. Legit.ng reported that the couple share two sons, Shiloh and Benaiah, and had already held a private civil ceremony before their public celebration. Legit.ng said the wedding marks a significant public milestone for a couple who have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

BellaNaija Weddings reported that the couple had kicked off their wedding celebrations with a traditional wedding in Lagos, and that their first look showed the richness of their culture. The site said it would bring readers more moments from the celebration.
