The video for the ORIADÉ track stages a proposal, though the couple married in June 2024.
Davido has released a romantic music video for Already Falling in which he gets down on one knee beside a lake and presents his wife, Chioma Adeleke, with a ring. The video came out on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The gesture recreates a marriage proposal, although the couple are already married.
The track is the eighth song on ORIADÉ, Davido's sixth studio album, released on 31 July. Classic and Sensei produced the song, and Peruzzi contributed background vocals. The track also hit No. 9 on the Official UK Afrobeats Songs Chart. The project was released through Davido Music Worldwide and Sony Music.
Meji Alabi directed the video, who also directed Davido's 2018 hit Assurance. Shooting took place at Château de Chanteloup, a Martell estate located in Cognac, France. Davido arrives at a French chateau in a horse-drawn carriage, and the couple appear in matching traditional-inspired outfits. Chioma sits behind the wheel of a car while the singer performs. She also wears a gold-and-black gown in another scene.
Davido announced the release online with a short caption:
"Already Falling. From us to you. Enjoy."
The singer has described the song as a second part of Assurance, the 2018 hit he dedicated to Chioma when they were dating. Its lyrics include affectionate lines such as "my sugar banana, honey bunny".
Chioma also appeared in the wedding-themed video for 1 Milli, a 2020 song. Many fans had called for her to feature in the official video for Already Falling.
Davido and Chioma held a traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024; in August of that year, a white wedding followed in Miami, Florida. The clip is another step in the visual campaign for ORIADÉ and also brings in Davido's long-term tie-up with Martell.
