Reports say the singer was hurt rehearsing an acrobatic stunt, and his team has not yet responded.
An alleged video of Nigerian singer Omah Lay in a medical emergency surfaced online on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The footage appears to show him on a stretcher as paramedics wheel him toward a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance at dusk, with bystanders in the background.
The scene appears to suggest the incident happened outside Nigeria, judging by the paramedics attending to him. About four men are seen carrying him to the ambulance while a woman runs to catch up with them.
Online reports attributed to LindaIkeji say the singer allegedly got hurt during practice for an acrobatic stunt ahead of an upcoming performance, before emergency responders were called to the scene. Unconfirmed reports say about four paramedics attended to him on site before taking him to a medical facility for treatment.
The video leaves the type and degree of any injury unclear. Tooxclusive reported that neither the particulars of the rehearsal incident nor how bad the alleged injury is has been verified.
Fans reacted with a mix of worry and relief that he was getting prompt care. @arthurscottoriginal commented: "Quick recovery star" @d_realsolz shared: "Thank God this isn't happening in Nigeria. I'm personally grateful for him and wish him quick recovery." @neekee_lawson said: "Please be careful my baby."
As of the filing of the Legit.ng report, Omah Lay and his team had yet to react publicly. MyNigeria reported that his management had not issued an official statement on the video, his medical condition or the incident. Tooxclusive said fans continue to hope for his quick recovery and await updates from him and his team.
