After a year of impatiently keeping his fan base waiting, StarBoy Wizkid returns with a fresh single, probably the first promotional song from his upcoming album; Wizkid entitles this new song Bad To Me which contains lyrics pertaining to a particular female whom Wizkid derives sexual pleasures from.
The guitar stringing in the intro as the Amapiano-infused P2J-produced instrumentals come to life already set the tone for the upbeat invigorating ambience of Bad To Me while Wizkid rides the beat like the leader of The Dothraki Clan (from the classic Game of Thrones series), somewhat using repetitive generic lyrics to assure that particular female why she needs to stick to him, continue to provide him sexual healing and need not worry for her bills are sorted, “Lady, girl, say your body bad to me / Pass, make I choke, make I feel am, oh / Baby girl, you know as e be, oh / Yeah, we dey love till the morning / Bad girl addicted to me”, Wizkid sincerely expresses in the chorus.
As stated, Bad To Me should be off Wizkid’s soon-to-be-released “More Love, Less Ego” album. Sammy Soso shares production credits with P2J; The sole accredited songwriter is none other than Wizkid himself.
