“Gyal don’t play hard, I know you wanna go yard with me” Davido starts on the hook before going on to detail how women try playing hard to get with him, how he would hope not to someone new because of their uncertain untrue behaviours while also thanking God for always being there for him especially during his tough times. Tion Wayne picks it up from there and raps about his expensive lifestyle, “Yo, my life like a film”, he humbly brags, telling us how his life has changed ever since but wishes his “brothers” locked up in the penitentiary would just get released; on the second verse, he talks about finding a keeper and how he is treating her fine by splurging on her.
Like earlier stated, the music video for Who’s True screams class and elegance, from the Roll-Royce masterfully designed interior Ghost editon of its Starlight Roof Headliner model to the ‘chopper’ waiting to take-off immediately they step out from their convoy to Tion Wayne being loved up and buying all the expensive jewellery for his lover to the neatly dressed gruop of friends (with BBN’s Kiddwaya making a cameo), the crisp and hotness oozing out of Who’s True is a must-watch wonder to the eye.
