Daniel Benson profoundly recognised by the stage name of BNXN fka Buju emerges as the winner of the Next Rated category at The Headies 2022. He defeats Ayra Starr, Lojay, Zinoleesky and Ruger to scoop the gold-plated plaque which comes with a car prize of 2022 Bentley.
Buju got accompanied onstage by an entourage of friends and team members; in his acceptance speech, he made sure to give all glory to God for securing the tightly contested prestigious, as he also gave special recognitions to all of this year’s Next Rated nominees and the wondrous feats they all have accomplished so far. During the nearly two-minute long speech, BNXN went personal, dedicating the award to his late mother.
BNXN fka Buju emotionally shares: “I dedicate this award to my mum, my late mum, she died of breast cancer. This is for you mummy.” He did not fail to applaud his many members who worked tirelessly alongside him in turning the dream to a reality, neither did he fail to acknowledge his loyal supporters who believed in the dream all along. “this is for everybody that actually believes in the dream”, an elated BNXN says.
In a bid to clear the seemingly feisty air over his and Ruger’s head, BNXN personally notes during his thanksgiving speech, “this is for Ruger, I love this boy”, he said with a large grin on his face.
