As the grand finale of the Big Brother Naija All Stars season draws closer, two housemates have secured their places among the finalists.
Cross clinched the first finalist slot of the season by purchasing the ultimate immunity on Sunday. He negotiated with several housemates, such as Neo, Alex, and Omashola, to secure their Moniepoint Coins, the official currency within the house. This allowed him to purchase the ultimate immunity.
He struck a deal in which Omashola sold his coins to him for $1 million while Neo sold his for $3 million. In addition, Pere and Alex gifted him theirs for free.
The ultimate immunity guarantees Cross an automatic slot in the final and immunity from possible eviction in week 9.
Ilebaye also gained a spot in the finals by winning this week’s head-of-house games. The head-of-house game involved an endurance task in which Biggie instructed the nine housemates to balance a specific position on a shaky platform for 3 hours.
Ilebaye ultimately emerged victorious, beating Angel with a record of over two hours of balancing on the platform. Furthermore, she selected Cee-C, Venita, Mercy, and Angel as her BFFs (friends for the week).
With these two already in the top five, viewers must wait for this week’s eviction to determine which three housemates will join them at the finale next Sunday.
