Almost four (4) years since dropping the second chronicle of their well-acclaimed and commercially focused Palmwine series, Nigeria’s finest rap monarch duo, Tec and Ghost, collectively called Show Dem Camp return with what seems to be the last chapter in the Palmwine chronicles, Palmwine Music 3.

Laced with fourteen tracks—12 songs and 2 radio-esque skits, Show Dem Camp centred Palmwine Music 3 around the theme of love: romantic, toxic, platonic and infatuation. As it is a custom for Show Dem Camp, they have called up some of their fellow Palmwine tappers (according to Tec) in Moelogo (No Regrets), BOJ (Kele), LADIPOE (OldFlame) and Tems (Live. Life) while making sure to sort after relatively not-so-mainstream talents like Nsikak David (Intro), Bellah (Wyw), Tim Lyre (Feel Something), Twelve XII (If It’s Love) and Nesta (OldFlame); a few diaspora acts—TOBi (Rolling) and Mannywellz (Freaky) and of course bringing some of the best mainstream artistes in M.anifest & WurlD (Bad Design), Tay Iwar (Apollo), Lojay (Your Love), Victony (Head Over Heels) and Oxlade (Mine Alone).

The skits which take a life of their own, tagged as Palmwine Radio has Folu Storms as the OAP with calls from various listeners narrating their agony relationship tales, one of such calls received came from Ebiye Victor (First Time Caller (Skit)).

In Palmwine Music 3, Show Dem Camp have reached a new stage of maturity and it shows as they graced the microphone with refined lyrics which not only reflect their state of mind but also shed light on the miscellaneous love affairs from their beautiful beloved city, Lagos. The final track, though digresses from the predominant theme of the album, with both rappers reflecting on the grind, the doubters and the success story, using an introspective appreciative cadence to convey their message.
