DEEWAVE, the rising star in the Nigerian music scene, has just dropped a mixtape titled “SHORE ENERGY”. The triptych exudes a laid-back and chill vibe, penned with poignant lyricism that’s perfect for a late-night drive or trip sessions at a beachside.
Comprising three mesmerizing tracks, Deewave’s unique vocal style and his ability to birth effortlessly flowing rhythms, ushers him in as a refreshing and new addition to the evolving style of Afro-pop, setting him apart as a promising artiste to watch out for in 2024.
Deewave was one of the most sought after songwriters of 2023, co-writing hit songs such as WALE and FREE FOR ALL with Chocolate City’s own CANDYBLEAKZ and the latter featuring BADBOYTIMZ. He has also worked alongside notable producers like REXXIE and REWARDBEATZ and with his plethora of industry experience, has been able to work on his craft and hone his sound.
