Paris Saint-Germain claims to have beaten Manchester United to Napoli center-back Kalidou
Koulibaly after a transfer fee of € 75 m is reportedly negotiated. For 12 months or more, the future of Koulibaly in Italy with Manchester United and Barcelona was uncertain, both reportedly keen on the 28-year-old center-back.
Calciomercato stated just last month that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted Koulibaly to join Diego Godin this summer.
The Series A giants have made the decision according to Area Napoli that there is no room on their books
for the likes of Koulibaly, Allan and Hirving Lozano and one or more will be sold in the next season.
Now Mundo Deportivo says PSG has pushed for the Senegal international ahead of United and Barca since agreeing with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis on a price in principle.
Gennaro Gattuso’s side seeks € 80 million for the center-back while PSG originally offered € 70 million,
but a € 75 million compromise bid is on the table ahead of the summer window opening.
