The Premier League season that has been filled with unending drama from the first whistle brought another remarkable round of action last weekend, the final unbeaten records in the division ended as Aston Villa and Everton suffered emphatic defeats.
Elsewhere Manchester United and Chelsea played out a goalless draw in a clash that saw both sides seem to prioritize a clean sheet over three points, whilst Jamie Vardy delivered against Arsenal once more as Leicester secured a first win in north London since 1973.

• 1 – Southampton have beaten the team starting the day top of the Premier League table for the first time in 12 matches, since a 1-0 victory at Anfield against Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool in September 2013.
• 6 – After failing to score in any of his first 24 Premier League appearances, Che Adams has now scored six goals in his last 12 matches in the competition.
• 2 – Danny Ings has provided two assists in a Premier League game for the very first time, with this his 117th appearance in the competition.
• 2 – Diogo Jota is the first player to score in his first two home appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League since Sadio Mané in September 2016.
• 0 – Man Utd have failed to win their opening three home league games to a season for the first time since 1972-73.
• 33 – Edinson Cavani (33y 253d) is the oldest player to make his Premier League debut for Man Utd since Zlatan Ibrahimovic (34y 316d) in August 2016.
