The Sandman’s first season, which debuted on Netflix on August 5, 2022, was a massive success worldwide, with over 60 million hours watched in its first week, However, for weeks afterward Netflix unwillingness to confirm a season 2 led several fans to worry about the future of the show.
But on November 2, Netflix and Sandman creator and showrunner Neil Gaiman finally announced that more episodes of the fantasy drama have been ordered by the streamer and that season 2 of the hit fantasy show will further explore the world of the Endless while remaining true to the source material.

While Morbius, or The Sandman, as he is more popularly known, return to our television screens is imminent. There are currently no details on the plot of season 2, but fans of the show can expect to see series regulars Tom Sturridge, Vivienne Acheampong, Gwendoline Christie, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Kyo Ra, Boyd Holbrook, and Mason Alexander reprise their respective roles as well as a host of new characters.
