Manchester United are in talks with Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland about a move to Old Trafford.
As a result of Newcastle United cutting short Martin Dubravka’s loan, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag needs a backup goalkeeper for David de Gea.
Butland has been a member of Crystal Palace since 2020, although he has played just 10 times in the Premier League for the team so far.
The 29-year old’s Selhurst Park contract is up in the summer.
Butland has nine England caps and was a member of Gareth Southgate’s World Cup roster in 2018.
Since Stoke City’s relegation from the Premier League in 2018, he has not, however, been a consistent player.
