Juls continues to blend African sound with the diaspora’s on “Sound of My World”

Juls started from where he stopped on previous album “Colour” by continuing to blend African sound with the diaspora’s, doing so perfectly by calling on his fellow African artistes and pairing them with those of the diaspora, choosing the UK as his pool to draw out international collaborations. Juls as always is known to be a fan of Afrobeat and Afro-fusion productions, doing so effortlessly whilst finding the perfect match of artistes to jump on his beats. Sound of My World is Juls’ sophomore album.

Like his previous projects, Sound of My World is packed with a lot of features ranging from top acts like Wizkid, Haile of WSTRN, Niniola, Fireboy DML, Ghana’s King Promise, American rapper, Bas down to upcoming acts in Mannywellz, Knucks, PrettyboyDO, Oxlade etc.

One thing Juls always does is making Afrobeat the canvas of his musical paintings (as it were), the artistes—his paint palette and his good skill of A&R’ing and perfect matching are his brush as he paints his ideas in mood and melodies all over the album, a fruitful 49 minutes of beautiful and sonorous sound. At first sight, one would notice the calmness of Juls’ painting on Sound of My World with the majority of the album being set on the midtempo R&B ambience, soothing to the listener’s ears and soul.

I know you must be salivating to devour Sound of My World, enjoy!
