Drake now has 18 Diamond singles, the most of any artist, as he turns 40 on Saturday.
Drake's 2016 album Views has been certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America, which means it has reached 10 million units in sales and streaming equivalents. The RIAA gave the rapper 30 new certifications on Friday, October 23, and the batch pushed his total past 350 million certified units. Billboard reports he is the first artist to surpass that number.
Two of his singles went Diamond too. In My Feelings and Marvin's Room joined Views in the top tier, while God's Plan is now double-diamond, according to Billboard.
OVO Sound announced the milestone on X and added the singles count:
"His record for most Diamond singles by any artist climbs to 18 (solo and featured)"
Views dropped on April 29, 2016, via Young Money and Cash Money, plus Republic Records. Its debut at the top of the Billboard 200 came with 1.04 million album-equivalent units, of which 852,000 were pure sales, and it then held the No. 1 spot for 13 weeks that were not consecutive. Every one of the album's 20 songs charted on the Hot 100, driven by singles Hotline Bling, One Dance, Controlla, Pop Style and Too Good.
The album earned Gold status on June 9, 2016, moved up to 8x platinum on October 30, 2023, and reached 9x platinum on October 24, 2025, a day short of a full year before its Diamond certification.
Billboard lists More Life at 6x, Certified Lover Boy at 5x, Scorpion at 9x, Care Package at 1x and So Far Gone at 3x, and says ICEMAN is now platinum five months after its May arrival. Complex says the Diamond run keeps him the most certified artist in RIAA history on both albums and digital singles.
HotNewHipHop reports that Drake is slated to go on a World Tour in 2027.
