Both singles contain upbeat production, revolving round the Afro-themed sound, while giving ample space for CKay to euphoniously showcase his softcore R&B-type vocals on the tracks.
Emiliana is an Afropop melody, dedicated to a girl of same name; By Your Side is Amapiano-infused song, featuring South African singer Blxckie and produced by Tumisho, another South African, hence the no shock factor that the tune contains danceable production.
