Biggie ruled him the aggressor, replayed the footage in the lounge and walked him out days before the Show Ya Sef finale.
Big Brother Naija has disqualified Victor Ikpe, better known as Keivo, from the Show Ya Sef season after a physical fight with fellow housemate Tram.
Biggie made it official on Tuesday night, calling the housemates into the lounge, replaying the footage and reading the verdict. "Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house," Biggie said. "Violence is never an option."
The fight began over a black shirt. Tram accused Keivo of taking it. Keivo said he owned a similar one and was more stung by being called a thief than by anything about the shirt itself. The argument spiralled, and Keivo threw the first punch before the other housemates pulled them apart.
Biggie ordered the house to freeze, and three ninjas escorted Keivo out through the storeroom. Before leaving, he broke down, insisting the clash was never really about the shirt but about being accused of taking something that was not his. He told Big Brother he did not want to leave with viewers thinking he was a thief, and worried aloud about what the incident would do to his reputation.
His exit had been signposted hours earlier, when his name dropped off the official voting platform on Tuesday.
Keivo is the second housemate disqualified this season. Nomy was removed weeks earlier for repeatedly ignoring Big Brother's instructions. It is a harsh way to end a run that began with 24 housemates walking in on July 26.
The Show Ya Sef finale airs October 4, and the winner walks away with N160 million, the largest prize in the show's history.
