Blaqbonez made a surprise appearance on the eve of his album NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME.
Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, sold out London's 20,000-capacity O2 Arena on Thursday 15 October 2026. It was the third sold-out show of his career at the venue, and the night was part of his In God We Trust World Tour.
The night's support acts were BNXN, a Nigerian singer, and TxC, a South African dance music group. According to the O2's published schedule, TxC were on at 7:15pm, BNXN at 8pm and Asake at 8:30pm.
The surprise came midway through. One fan, SB (@seyedele), wrote: "All of a sudden Blaqbonez comes out of the floor, screaming Ikebe wanyo wanyo." The Beats of Africa said he apparently rose through the stage on a lift. The two then performed Ikebe 3000 and Chanel, their two 2026 collaborations.
Blaqbonez's album NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME came out at midnight, a few hours after the show. TML Vibez and Rybeena were also seen among the audience, joining in on Chanel.
The Beats of Africa said the tour follows a fairly set running order. Fan clips show Asake closing with Gratitude and working through Terminator, Joha, Palazzo, Why Love and Ototo along the way.
Asake did his viral dance for the London crowd, and a fan account on X said he added a slight update to it. In the middle of Skilful, he pulled a fan up to him and walked across the stage holding her. One fan, IamJP (@iamjuspat), went further: "Asake is getting to that Michael Jackson level."
Not everyone in the crowd stayed composed. A man was filmed in tears when Asake closed the night with Gratitude. Cleverly (@Cleverlydey4u) posted the clip with the words "Na once baba come get emotional."
M$NEY, Asake's fourth studio album, was released on 1 May through his own label, Giran Republic, and EMPIRE. July saw Asake put out M$NEY Live in London, a concert movie and live recording available only on Spotify. The Beats of Africa, citing The Guardian Nigeria, reported that M$NEY set a Spotify Nigeria record with 37.5 million streams in its first six days, ahead of the 35.8 million first-week total of Wizkid's Morayo.
The run now concludes on 24 October at Paris's Accor Arena.
