The 16-year-old's records cover the Champions League, the Premier League goalscoring mark and a title medal, all before his 17th birthday.

Max Dowman, the teenage Arsenal player, has collected three Guinness World Records certificates after a 2025/26 campaign in which he set new marks as the youngest to play in the Champions League, the youngest to find the net in the Premier League and the youngest to lift the Premier League trophy. He does not turn 17 until December.

His first record was set on November 4, 2025, when he entered as a substitute against Slavia Prague at 15 years and 308 days old. That appearance made him the youngest to feature in the UEFA Champions League, eclipsing Youssoufa Moukoko's previous benchmark by 75 days. No other 15-year-old has ever played in the competition.

The second came on March 14, 2026, when he scored in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Everton. He ran from inside his own half, skipped past two opponents and rolled the ball into an unguarded net after Jordan Pickford had gone forward for a corner. He was 16 years and 73 days old, which made him the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history. He surpassed James Vaughan, who had been 16 years and 271 days old when he found the net for Everton against Crystal Palace in 2005.

The third record came with Arsenal's first Premier League title since 2004. Dowman collected his winner's medal at 16 years and 144 days, the youngest ever to do so. Phil Foden held the previous mark, having been 17 when he was part of Manchester City's 100-point team.

"To have already achieved three Guinness World Records titles before turning 17 is extraordinary, and his story captures exactly why this generation of players is so exciting," Tom Beckerlegge said.

Tom Beckerlegge, senior editor of Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027, made the point about the teenager's rise. "The youngest player on our list, Max sums up what the Class of '27 is all about." The records have also earned Dowman the "opening player profile" in the book's Class of '27 section.

Dowman's senior debut came against Leeds United, a 5-0 win at Emirates Stadium in August 2025. He was 15 years and 235 days old, and he won a penalty.

He has carried that form into this season, scoring twice in Arsenal's 4-2 Carabao Cup win over Ipswich in September. Injuries to Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis have put him in line for an elevated role in Mikel Arteta's forward line.

Arsenal return from the international break with Leeds at home on Saturday, a repeat of the fixture in which Dowman made his debut.
