Spy series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger has been set up at Netflix for production, Skydance TV is partnering with the former apprentice host and ex-governor of California on an hour-long scripted series just bought by Netflix
Details about the upcoming series was first reported by Deadline, The series is descibed as a global spy adventure at the core of the plot, with a father and daughter duo. Monica Barbaro will play the daughter of Schwarzenegger in the series. It will mark the first regular television role of Schwarzenegger ‘s career.
The project was created by Nick Santora as part of his overall deal with Skydance TV. Nick Santora previously worked on “Law & Order”, “Prison Break”, “Most Dangerous Game” and “Scorpion” and currently working with the studio as executive producer of the upcoming Jack Reacher TV series on Amazon Prime Video
The series will strengthen the partnership between Skydance TV and Netflix, where the company produces Grace and Frankie, a long-running hit sitcom, and Altered Carbon.
